You know I think the people who raised me were right. We were going to have an authoritarian leader who crashes our economy & threatens religious freedoms & the constitution. They just failed to mention they would be the ones to vote him into power then make excuses & say God appointed him.

Going through the 5 stages of grief about our country & my husband being gone for 3 weeks at the same time really sucks. Oh and now catching a cold or flu or something. Can I just slip into a coma for the next couple weeks? The kids will survive on their own right?

I thought I didn’t have end times/rapture trauma… but maybe I do. With all that’s going on in the Middle East and across the world right now there’s that voice in the back of my mind that goes “this is it, the end times” and wants to puzzle out who is the anti-Christ and stuff.

I grew up being told I’d have to resist the “culture” and the “world”. I didn’t know that would mean the exact culture and world I grew up in. As American evangelicalism gives into more and more Christian nationalism the more I will resist that culture.
