Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewer, has given a bright new bottle label to its flagship Spitfire Amber Ale. First brewed 1990 to mark Battle of Britain fought in the skies above Kent. 4.2%, brewed with water from onsite well, finest malts & Kentish hops. Rich, fruity, peppery & spicy #BskyBeer

We will be launching my collaboration brew with @beerfoodtravel.bsky.social & @troublebrewing.ie - two porters inspired by my chapter Porter Wars from Filthy Queens: A History of Beer in Ireland

Tickets are on sale for our annual dark beer tasting at Brewery Market Ltd in a couple of weeks. This year expect only Belgian beers, top, mixed and spontaneous fermentation. Some of these beers are very limited release, all unavailable in the UK
