For the third time in slightly more than a week, grand jurors in Washington have rejected efforts by federal prosecutors to indict a resident accused of a felony assault against a federal agent. The extraordinary pushback comes as President Trump has flooded the streets with National Guard troops.

If someone tells you there's nothing we can do about gun violence beyond thoughts and prayers, remind them:

—Gun laws in other countries have prevented mass shootings
—More guns don't make us safer
—A majority of Americans want gun reform

We don't have to live like this.

President Trump has signed an executive order that requires federal buildings in Washington to maintain a classical style of Greco-Roman architecture associated with the marble columns and austere hallways of the Supreme Court and U.S. Capitol.

The order, which affects buildings like federal courthouses and agency headquarters, encourages classical styles rather than modernist aesthetics.

In 2024, the average CEO earned 632x more.

Angus: I’m saying we need to start building progressive media that people actually listen to.

I’ll give you an example: MeidasTouch. Wherever I go in Canada, working-class people listen to MeidasTouch because they talk about what’s happening in a practical way. They give facts.
