I also learned that Sticky Keys is an accessibility feature and not just an annoying pop up I get when I slam “Shift” too many times. 😬
TIL that iPhones and Macs have a built-in white noise feature in the accessibility settings. So if you focus best with rain, ocean, wind, etc. in the background, you can turn that on and even listen while you’re watching a video or listening to music.

Children cannot consent to religious sacraments/rites/practices and should not be able to "commit" to anything within a church until they're an adult but childhood is vital indoctrination time for the church so whoops

I feel like I say this every year but I really need people to hear it. Halloween is the best American holiday. Just kids outside welcomed into their world, marching around together, showing off their costumes to the elderly, parents meeting parents, neighbors catching up with neighbors.

On my drive to work I saw an entire deer spine and skull laying in the road and it took an inordinate amount of will power to not stop and pick it up.

Ugh. Ted went in for a bladder scan and ended up in surgery for more bladder stones. I think this might be his 5th or 6th surgery and it panics me every time. 😞
