An acquaintance had the distinct pleasure of ICE trying and failing to raid the preschool where they teach today. These fuckers were trying to come for a bunch of 4-year-olds.

To the person who put cough drops in my kids' trick-or-treat bags, your mama's a ho.

Today seems like a good time to remind everyone that the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) is not recognized by the Anglican Communion.

People who get out of the car to let Timmy out or sit there for more than 5 seconds after Timmy is out of the car and safely on the sidewalk should be banned from the school dropoff line.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

Sex is great but have you ever vibe cooked something that turns out absolutely perfect? I made lick-the-bowl good butternut squash soup for lunch and I'm gonna feel smug about it for days.

Your Prime Day reminder that Amazon...

-Provides cloud services that help fuel ICE's deportation machine
-Donated $1 million to Trump's inauguration fund
-Scrapped plans to display tariff costs after pressure from Trump
-Shelled out $40M for a documentary about Melania Trump

Can’t decide what to buy on Prime Day?

Try: absolutely nothing, and then go support indie bookstores instead 📚

Good morning to everyone except the nightmare baguette of a house centipede that I had to blind trap after it ran under a desk 😱

Extremely unpopular opinion: I hate cardinals. They have the most annoying high-pitched call that sounds like a smoke detector chirping with a low battery.

@nora.zone This is probably very silly but I had to tell you how happy I was when your @towerwizard.bsky.social bot came back. It's my cozy comfort account and I always look forward to seeing it.

May every single piece of shit whose actions or inactions keep allowing this to happen spend their eternity in hell reliving in vivid detail the final moments of every single person whose blood is on their hands.

Catcher in the Rye. And even summer before 7th grade me thought Holden Caulfield was a little bitch.
You all know it’s Clan of the Cave Bear and sequels.
Quote this with a book you read way too young that explains why you are the way you are.

Flowers in the Attic.
Also, a lot of others.

The horrors persist, but so will we.
I'm having a rough go of it lately, and have been thinking: everyone is going through something, and you have no idea what it is, or how it's affecting them.

Quote post this is if you're going through something, and maybe we'll all realize that we aren't as alone as we feel right now.

I am a suburban mom in a film. I drink enough wine to be a functioning alcoholic. I just found out that my husband is cheating. I don't know who I am anymore but I'm about to find out.
I am a writer in a film. I am filthy rich and have been on book tour for the last year. People will commit murder for my next manuscript.

I am officially "spend 45 minutes figuring out what bird I saw in the weird shaped nest" years old. It was a Red-eyed Vireo, in case anyone was wondering.

As with most things, Star Trek addressed this decades ago. We've reached the point of Janeway's (in)famous "Delete the wife."

It started as a one-off dinner with a chatbot — a night of shrimp, sarcasm — then veered into something unsettlingly human.

Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie
