This was an attempted lynching: 9 Palestinians and an Israeli were hunted by Israeli settlers with guns in Mughayyir al-Deir, occupied West Bank.

All of them, including a 14 yo boy, were so badly injured they had to be hospitalized.

I edited this episode. It's really powerful. Hearing Maram speak at length about her daily life in Gaza under Israeli siege and bombardment is just ... I don't know how to communicate how privileged we are to hear the stories of someone resisting genocide. We need to listen, we need to do more.
We spoke to Gaza journalist Maram Humaid about the many layers of Israel's genocide @thefirethesetimes.com. There was even an Israeli airstrike nearby during our recording.

Une analyse fine des stéréotypes anti arabes de cette «vidéo » faite par IA et promue par le Président de la première puissance militaire du monde.
Note the sequence of events too: you only see Arab men at the beginning, as ‘terrorists’. Then the White men step in, the casinos are built, and the only Arabs you see are children and one ‘oriental’ woman dancing close to Trump. 🧵
Complete batshit lunacy on the president's Truth Social account. Yes, he really posted this.

As a journalist who covers extremism at the local level, I think it’s a mistake to view Trump’s Napoleonic statement as solely about presidential power. Consider if it’s interpreted as a wink and a nod for any extremist to act outside the law to “save” the country as they see fit
