When Trump says we're being invaded he must mean it's an amphibious invasion.
Things are happening at Portland's ICE facility tonight.

@radiofreetom.bsky.social I realize I may have missed this but wanted to check. Have you written anything to compare social media companies to the being in "Day of the Dove"?

It's terrible that Kirk was shot and we don't need political violence. However he did say that some gun deaths are an acceptable price to have the Second Amendment.

I hope he survives and recovers. He and his family don't deserve this. I also hope he changes his view on gun deaths.

As he started his fall semester, my son told me that he thought it would be cool to work for the FBI. He's intelligent and curious - great investigator potential. Then I had to break the news to him that Ka$h is ruining the Bureau. He was extremely disappointed. I hated that.

How long before we have a farm emergency and Trump deploys the National Guard to pick crops?
More than 1.2 million immigrants disappeared from the labor force from January through the end of July, according to preliminary Census Bureau data analyzed by the Pew Research Center.

That includes people who are in the country illegally as well as legal residents. https://to.pbs.org/46d1uiJ

We negotiated with Japan by fire bombing Tokyo and dropping two atomic bombs and let them think more were coming. I suppose you could say that Putin is negotiating with Ukraine in a similar way.
JD Vance: "This is how wars ultimately get settled. If you go back to World War 2, if you go back to every major conflict in human history, they all end with some kind of negotiation."

Vance can invoke the 25th and get away with it as long as Republicans in Congress are more afraid of Elon than Trump.

I'm not Catholic. I'm not religious at all. However I can appreciate the idea of the new pope following in the footsteps of Francis and Leo XIII. The fact that his selection is making maga influencers nuts is a bonus.

@jvl.bsky.social is always right.
I’m concerned that John Roberts will do anything to prevent Trump from openly defying a Supreme Court order, so he will concede on every topic where he thinks Trump might not obey.

Our rights are not his priority. The Court’s “legitimacy,” however impotent, comes first, and at all costs.
Here is the opinion with dissents from Sotomayor and Jackson www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24p...

People think that US factory jobs will be like the post war years of high pay. It'll be more like the early 1900s with child labor and another Triangle Shirtwaist factory fire.

Another golden age!

Don't destroy Teslas. Trump is looking for any excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act. He wants to move from liberal tears to liberal blood. Stay peaceful and persistent. If he responds to peaceful protests with violence that will undermine him faster than anything else.

Touch a Tesla: We’re coming after you!

Attack the United States Capitol, assault cops guarding the building, and attempt to overturn a presidential election by forcibly disrupting the counting of electoral votes: Pardons all around!
Pam Bondi: "If you're gonna touch a Tesla, go to a dealership, do anything, you better watch out, because we're coming after you."

I would say Tubberville was a dumb as a stump but I don't want to insult stumps.
The stock market is in freefall, a trade war has begun, the economy is teetering, the U.S. is emboldening Russian aggression, measles are back, federal agencies are in chaos, the deficit is soaring, and we're 36 hours from a govt shutdown.

Meanwhile, in the U.S. Senate...

Don't get too excited about Edwards' TH in Asheville. That's his blue hell in his district. If he gets that same reaction in Gastonia, then he's in real trouble.

Musk isn't cutting funds from USAID to help Americans. He needs money to develop his new fireworks.
Elon Musk blew up another rocket using your tax money, it was recently reported that his failed experiments and falling satellites are causing severe damage to our ozone layer, risking the entire planet. #3E #EndAutogenocide #EndOligarchy

If the Democrats bail out Mike Johnson on ANY spending bill, they deserve the utter political destruction coming their way.

Some are already falling for the "but we'll get blamed for shutting down the government" b.s.

Have you learned NOTHING?

Not. One. Vote.

"If you torture data long enough, it will confess to anything."
Johnson: "Elon's cracked the code. He's now inside these agencies. He's created these algorithms that are constantly crawling through the data & as he told me in his office, data doesn't lie. We're gonna be able to get the information. We're gonna be able to transform the way federal govt works."
