You know, maybe it's not as bad as it seems.
Maybe Earth was merely colonized while he was away. The Viscoxites really hit the jackpot with Victor, though, given his staying power.

Working labor and entertainment around Christmas is very demanding, should’ve read past ‘food and lodge covered’ with only three 15 minute breaks out of suit and 24-hour mandatory wear. Zippers locked as punishment doesn’t sound half bad at least
