Had a friend use an old Mac to do it and send me the app files after, but then there was the issue of cracking it. Finally found a torrent with a lonely seeder that delivered today.

happy to get this working finally. Found the installer years ago but couldn't get it running since even though Flash CC is 64bit, the INSTALLER is 32bit.

I love macOS but its definitely a rough platform to be on if you care about software history/preservation lol

Flash CC 2013 on macOS, earliest version that still runs since Apple cut off 32bit application support with Catalina. Currently, CC 2024 (the final release!!) is the only one to support Apple Silicon and is poised to be the only functioning version of Animate on macOS once Apple deprecates Rosetta.
