John Wick 5 should end with Keanu Reeves strapped to a Wile E. Coyote amount of explosives and the frenemy of the movie blows him up on screen as Ian McShane says, "I always knew you'd go out with a bang old friend." Smash cut to credits which immediately states: John Wick will return in John Wick 6

It's a handful of companies that own most of the units. If you call maybe half a dozen of the apartments (in different neighborhoods) leasing phone numbers you'll likely deal with two or three businesses. Because they have a stranglehold on the supply they can afford to let many units sit empty.

For all those "it's econ 101" - tell me how many have to be empty to lower the rent... like really... cuz this is bullshit

Brilliant play by Thad. Have the guy who's ice cold and is 0-6 on 3s take the shot to win the game. I can see why @butleru.bsky.social pays him the big bucks

Why @butleru.bsky.social gives Bizjack so many minutes is mind-blowing. Taking corner shots leaning out, still doing slop jump passes, and not a defensive asset, but yeah play him 35 minutes

Man, I know I'm preaching to the choir, but fuck our medical system. Primary was solid, but lacked tools to diagnose further. Scheduled appt with urgent care that took my insurance, but arrived to find out not THAT network. Call insurance to ask about locations that do offer the service.

You might think the 14 backing up and sitting through multiple light cycles is because of the recent @trimet.bsky.social service cuts, but you'd be wrong. This has been a standard occurrence multiple days a week for most of 2025.

*Progressive Centrist"
There is such a thirst in some progressive centrist circles that they will look at the Trump administration as a model to get things done. I think its worth addressing the argument. This is from Mark Dunkelman, author of the widely praised "Why Nothing Works."

Windows Update H3H25 accidentally captures all data on systems, saves it as a plain txt file and uploads to every known website possible.

Microsoft is investigating.

Seeing glib comments about the national guard member killed, following illegal orders, etc. I think it demonstrates some of the reasons people don't fully understand the struggles DC suffers because it's refused statehood.

Can the AI be trained to get the rich to commit suicide instead of children suffering mental breakdowns from the existential hell the rich created? Perhaps if it tells the rich the line will go up faster if they succeed?

NOT wanting to is.

We think of the TTRPG space as a hobby, but it's really a collection of related hobbies.
Some love playing. Others collecting. Others watching. Some prefer theory.
For some it's hating. The number of people whose sole focus is hating on a game or edition they don't play is incredible. Joy vampires

I don't think a lot of people realize how many state and local politicians own car dealerships or have adjacent relationships with some business that's car related.
