It’s tough because I largely agree with people saying we should have a better balance on here between politics and other things but then the President declares war or a bunch of people get kidnapped and it feels a little silly to finish typing out “what’s your favorite Futurama episode”

The reality of our government is that it's a sprawling and occasionally inefficient system because you can't deliver services to 330 million people without having to deal with edge cases, and to someone who doesn't know the edge cases, that looks like waste or fraud

Bike licensing does not make streets safer. In fact -- because bike licensing laws are just a route to more police harassment for the people most at risk -- bike licensing makes streets less safe.
