The thing I hate about slivers is how they can just sit in there and hurt as your body attempts to expel them. But the thing I *love* about slivers is when your body succeeds all by itself and you don’t really need the tweezers after all, after a couple days.

Pete Hegseth sent top secret war plans to his wife, brother, and lawyer. If any of those people are Democrats, then both sides are guilty of improperly sharing top secret war plans.

james surowiecki has discovered where the completely fabricated trump tariff rate has come from for each country

"...for every country, they just took our trade deficit with that country and divided it by the country's exports to us."

This is how it's done.

A strong and principled response by WilmerHale to the illegal Executive Order attack - a form of attempted government intimidation declared unconstitutional by a federal judge.

This is how to guard the rule of law.

We shall fight in the provincial parks. We shall fight in the non-functioning light rail transit line tunnels and on the islands undergoing redevelopment for a new
Spa. We shall fight in the vacant office buildings and in the tent encampments. We shall never surrender.

I wonder when Trump starts to realize that he sowed himself into a sack with a few billion dollars, Elon Musk, a cat and a snake and had the sack tossed into the Tiber.

An important point and yet another indication of how incredibly uncurious the current millennial generation of political reporters is about anything that happened before them. You simply cannot be an effective political reporter if you have no interest in or knowledge of history.
Jimmy Carter pardoned his brother Billy Carter who took over $200,000 from Libya as its foreign agent.

George H.W. Bush pardoned his son Neil Bush for his role in the S&L scandals of the 1980s.

Nobody thinks those pardons defined either presidency.

Joe Biden's pardon of Hunter Biden won't either.

Hmmm. After several days' observation, the mice in Trinity-Bellwoods seem to be much wiser to the true purpose of mousetraps than the naive mice of the Annex. What to do next... and if and when I think of it, should I even do that or will that make them evolve even more?!?!
