I really hope this means the existing WF store becomes available for redevelopment. A 1-acre, C-2 site could easily yield 100+ new homes.
The former Eastside Marketplace in Providence will be the new home of grocery chain Whole Foods, city records show.

No word yet on what that means for the nearby location on Waterman Street.

Maybe I’m a little more down the “he’s deep into suffering dementia” rabbit hole than I should be, but putting up signs in happy fonts to help someone find their own bedroom or own bathroom is exactly what you do for someone with dementia.

I look at the sky a lot and this is by far the strangest thing I’ve ever seen up there. Was definitely a rocket, maybe the Sentinel satellite that went up this afternoon from French Guiana

Roll back regulations to lower housing costs - The Boston Globe
The sheer volume of Massachusetts’ regulations can drive up the total cost of construction in significant ways. But some rules are no longer necessary.

I spent the whole holiday weekend with some people who live in a very rural, vacation-y place and I got like 2-3k steps each day. My daily average over the past year is about 13k.
The whole MAHA thing is funny. I don't doubt that we could do with fewer plastics and color dyes. But isn't the real problem obvious? Humans evolved to walk long distances, every day, and eat whatever trash we found along the way. But contemporary Americans literally never walk.

Ok, so what you’re saying is Triggs should be closed, made mostly into an actual public park, with like 10% of the area made available for housing development.
