I’ve seen video of IDF bombing Nasser Hospital, where a friend of mine is on a humanitarian mission to treat patients.

My friend survived the bombing but a teen patient he treated and who was set to go home today was murdered.

Are you warmongers not tired and sick of this yet? This horror

63 studies: women who assert their ideas, make direct requests, and advocate for themselves are liked less.

They're also less likely to get hired—and it hasn't improved over time.

When will we stop punishing women for violating outdated gender stereotypes?

So AI is just another overconfident white male but in neural form?

It’s fitting that an era defined by the ascendancy of Elon Musk, always a bullshitter and con man at his core, Sam Altman, Marc Andreesen (much the same), Gen AI tools presenting false information 60% of the time, with confidence.
That’s the last quarter century in a nutshell.
Columbia Journalism Review tested eight generative AI search tools and found their answers were wrong 60% of the time, and the paid ones actually fared worse than the free ones.

Meanwhile, millions of people trust the way they present total bullshit with confident language.
AI search engines cite incorrect sources at an alarming 60% rate, study says
CJR study shows AI search services misinform users and ignore publisher exclusion requests.

I think this is good news. The NTIA has released a report coming down in favour of Open Weighted Models despite Google and Microsoft/OpenAI's "concerns" that open models enable bad actors that closed. Proprietary ones that also entrench their hold are "safer"?
