"No one ever thought this would happen" is dishonest and journalists not pointing that out are doing you all a disservice. Many people said word for word this would happen. You just didn't respect those people. And you need to be honest instead of the feigned surprise for sympathy.

the more i think about this the angrier i get at how effective the US govt was in wiping out all education about political consciousness/organizing. literally, what are our elected officials doing!? let me go call one rn...

the democratic party is so mind bogglingly spineless. the people told them exactly what they wanted: stopping genocide, secure jobs and social safety nets. all they could give us was "well we're not him". and now he's in power and a literal heir of apartheid is IN OUR FEDERAL PAYMENT SYSTEM
