Not too much to ask is it ?
Now here’s an idea.
What about if we have a national appeal to raise money for Clacton, raise millions and tell voters there that we will release the funds to spend on the town the day after they vote him out at the next GE ?

#PoliticsLive so today’s balanced panel is a Tory peer, a former Tory turned Brexit Party candidate and Stella Creasy, oh, and Chris Mason, speaking on behalf of Robbie Gibb.
Where is the balance that the BBC is supposed to provide in a time of a massive Labour majority and LD’s with 70 odd seats

'We have a historically high proportion of working-age people not actually working.' No we don't.

#BBCNews your headline tonight is not reporting the News, it’s a constructed political argument being delivered by Chris Mason no doubt at the behest of your politically appointed Board members.

#SkyNews really impressed by Matt Barbett holding Danny Kruger & Reform UK to account this morning.Perhaps you can get him to do a training course for other presenters as they seem incapable of asking the obvious difficult questions of a party full of racist, over privileged grifters.

It’s like shouting “look it was us, look how shit we were” 🤣🤣

This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.

Javier Milei had to beg a bail-out and already needs another. Argentina's economy is in a tailspin. Gov't bonds and peso in freefall. People starving, throwing rocks at him.

Farage last year: "He's amazing. It's Thatcherism on steroids. Cutting and slashing expenditure. That's leadership."

We now have two v prominent advocates of Reform - both Matthew Goodwin and Isabel Oakeshott - arguing that Shabana Mahmood (so Rishi Sunak and Paul Ince) can't be English.

That was a settled question long before this match in 1998. This kind of radicalisation by online racists would harm Reform

Politics Live idea of an essential contribution to debate is to have a landlord who named his pub,The George Orwell,to talk on Digital ID. The landlord then has to be shut up by the presenter before he moves onto 15 minute cities and reveals he is a conspiracy loon.
How far has the BBC fallen 😢

@skynewsrss.bsky.social Trevor Phillips is frankly ridiculous. His interview with Steve Reed doesn’t allow Reed to talk about any issue, but is now talking semantics on the meaning of “patriotic” and trying to define “treason”. We would like to hear real answers, not Trevor’s ridiculous questions.

Nathan Gill is no fringe politician.

He was the leader of the Reform Party and before that UKIP in Wales.

A Brexit Party MEP.

A friend and ally of Nigel Farage, who in 2016 called him:

"terrific," and "as honest as the day is long."

This is a MASSIVE story

“I just exchanged contracts on a house that [sic] I’ll be living there.”
Repeats, “I’ve bought a house in Clacton.”

Farage clearly stated he has a beneficiary interest in the property. If he provided the purchase costs, then he is the deemed owner - _exactly_ as Rayner was - and owes stamp duty.
