A pilot I wrote got into the hands of an actress with several major features and TV series under her belt… and she not only said she enjoyed it but called it “excellent”… which is all very validating and kinda makes me hopeful this might lead somewhere… 🤞🤞

So sad to hear of the passing of Jerry Eisenberg 😥 A legend in the animation industry. We were honored to get to speak to him on the Scooby Panel. He will be missed.

The text in the image is what Jerry said when I asked why he loved #ScoobyDoo.

Obviously not a top priority but, since Harrison Ford is out promoting the latest Marvel movie anyway, I hope somebody asks how insulted he was they named the series “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles”, implying he was “Old” Indiana Jones.

Have found it near impossible to get in the “holiday spirit” this year — although that hasn’t stopped me from eagerly plotting out a Christmas movie that I’m dying to write…

People hate their own art because it looks like they made it. They think if they get better, it will stop looking like they made it. A better person made it. But there's no level of skill beyond which you stop being you. You hate the most valuable thing about your art.

Watching “Turning Red” with my daughter for likely the hundredth or so time (she adores this film) and can I just say that I LOVE how animated it is… Domee Shi and her team took full advantage of the medium and every scene is an absolute joy. The way these characters emote is chef’s kiss brilliant!
