Welcome to a “There’s not a damn thing funny about this” edition of the MAGA Minute.

Today, Trump calls for the murder of military veterans who remind serving military they have a legal obligation to refuse illegal orders - you know, like opening fire on crowds of unarmed civilians.

Okay, this is the *core* thing that bothers me about the fuck the south discourse
The south is not racist because of its demography - it’d the Blackest part of the country. It’s racist because of its history and also because of *rural* white enclaves — which exist all over the country

1st time on Bluesky, I am shaking my head, watching people disagree on comments made by @petebuttigieg.bsky.social as they parse them for their narrative instead of looking at the actual meaning of the entire statement. All politics is based on your point of view, I still support Mayor Pete.

Perhaps a social club, as the books say to offer assistance
If your church is turning away people who show up to your doors in good faith, you don't have a church. You have a very expensive book club with scarcely any wine.

Boeing says “The MD-11 (UPS) has the second-worst safety record of any commercial aircraft still in service” in their own report, I believe it.
Boeing bought McDonnell Douglas in a merger that became effective on August 1, 1997. Although the UPS cargo plane was built in 1991, 34 years ago.

Just learned my uncle who passed away this weekend—Naval Academy grad, Vietnam vet helicopter pilot (a miracle he survived)—will not be getting full military honors at his funeral *because of the government shutdown.*

It's not the biggest thing, maybe, but it's another thing Trump needs to own.
