He's textbook, folks. And yes, the President's analysis is spot on. Narcissists are, internally, the least confident and most worried people you'll ever meet.
Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them. People with this disorder may lack the ability to understand or care about the feelings of others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence, they are not sure of their self-worth and are easily upset by the slightest criticism.

It's amazing that the fact that maybe she's just an obnoxious asshole never occurs to her. I suppose if she had the ability to engage in that kind of introspection she wouldn't be at the Free Press in the first place... 🤷‍♂️
Just yesterday, my oldest friend broke up with me. A different one. I’m now down to three or four friends from before 2022, when I shocked my liberal circle by joining The Free Press. It wasn’t lost on me that this happened within hours of the news of Charlie Kirk’s murder. If there was ever a time for coming together, it was now. And yet here she was, telling me that she didn’t want to associate with me anymore because of who I am. When we discussed certain issues like Israel, she realized we actually weren’t that far apart. We both believe in a two state solution and want the war to end. And yet, she couldn’t knock her overwhelming suspicion that I was bad. She said it as kindly as possible but uninvited me from her wedding. There is something wrong in this country. What happened yesterday is not an aberration—it is who we are becoming. We are a nation that celebrated Luigi Mangione, Biden’s cancer diagnosis, and now the murder of Kirk. If we keep heading down this road, we won’t need enemies abroad—we’ll destroy ourselves from within.

NPR: C National Public Radio’s political coverage has often been an exercise in bothsidesism. In a typical segment in recent years, an NPR host interviews a Republican liar, lets them lie with little or no pushback, and then thanks them for the interview. Since the GOP-led Congress cut off NPR’s federal funds, I’ve noticed a bit more aggressive reporting, but it’s still not as tough as it needs to be.

I generally try to avoid complaining about the refs — that’s what social media is for — but Adrian Hill’s crew wasn’t just inept, their ineptitude was egregiously lopsided in the Saints’ favor. Twice, Patriots coach Mike Vrabel had to use a challenge to get the correct call on important plays. Maye’s 2-point conversion at the end of the first half was initially called unsuccessful before a booth review set the record straight. The Patriots also needed replay help on Johnson’s fumble in the fourth quarter. And Vrabel could have used a challenge on one of Jones’s aforementioned pass breakups on Olave, which looked like a completed catch and a fumble upon replay on the CBS broadcast. And yet those weren’t even the worst calls. The Patriots might have blown out the Saints had Douglas’s 61-yard touchdown catch — what would have been his second of the first quarter — stood up. But Diggs was called for the ticky-tackiest of calls, a barely discernable push off that had nothing to do with the play. The officials hit Diggs with another ridiculous call, an offensive interference penalty that wiped out his spectacular 52-yard catch on a third and 17 early in the fourth quarter. Diggs did put his left hand on Saints defensive back Quincy Riley, but it was the kind of contact that has happened on every pass play since Eddie Cochems, Knute Rockne, Dan Fouts, or whomever it was that invented the forward pass. Conspiracy theorists might suggest something more sinister, but to me the officiating was a masterclass in incompetence
