Russian interference and illicit political funding going back to 2010 must now be re-investigated and the results made public.

It appears that parties that pride themselves on “patriotism” may be most implicated. ‘…. Friends of Russia and donations need to be revisited.

Just officially confirms what we all knew . History can judge Johnson as an awful human being with blood on his hands.

I will never forget having to edit Jamal’s final, posthumous piece for the Washington Post, after he was murdered.

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

Opinion | Jamal Khashoggi: What the Arab world needs most is free expression
The Arab world needs a modern version of the old transnational media so citizens can be informed about global events.

Twenty-two years ago today Section 28 was repealed.

But we're seeing history repeat itself as some in the media and in politics spread bigotry and misinformation about trans people.

Robbie Gibb was appointed to the BBC Board by Boris Johnson, was an editorial advisor for GB News, and worked as Theresa May's Director of Comms.

He is not impartial or neutral. The government should remove him from the Board immediately to protect the BBC's independence.

We just defeated Nigel Farage’s Bill in Parliament to tear up people’s rights and withdraw from the ECHR.

Farage wants to do away with the Britain Churchill built and turn it into a version of Trump's America. We stopped him.

This week PPE Medpro missed its deadline to pay back the millions it was ordered to at the start of the month.

The government has to keep pursuing the suppliers who ripped off the people, the money they earned, and the ministers who brought them in.

Liz Truss should have gone to prison, instead she got £115,000 a year for the rest of her life, tax free, for failing at being PM for 49 days.

And she gets to go on Right Wing troll rags and give her 'expert advice'.

Why?

Should be everyones question.

Lords Heseltine & Kinnock seem more alive to these self-evident truths than most members of the Commons. Similarly, I find thinkers with direct lived experience of far right dictatorship, Greeks of a certain age for example, crystal clear about what’s happening now.
“You described Reform and other parties across Europe today as among the 'right wing equivalents of the fascists in the 1930s'. Why?”

“Because that’s what they are”

@vicderbyshire.bsky.social asks Lord Heseltine about remarks he made at Conservative Party Conference.

Nigel Farage doesn’t think the Prime Minister should have free speech in this country. But he’ll tell foreigners that yours is somehow under threat from the Prime Minister. He’s a whiny little liar. Always has been. Always will be.

Guess what?

He was worse.
