Frances Marion--perhaps the most renowned female #screenwriter of the 20th century--was born #OTD in 1888.

A trailblazer in the male-dominated film industry, she wrote >300 screenplays & was the first person to win two Academy Awards for writing. #WomenInFilm #film

God this is so utterly despicable. Trump is “he was no angel”- ing a journalist who was murdered and dismembered with a bone saw by agents of an authoritarian regime.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Epstein Scandal is the biggest ongoing political cover up in modern times.

Don't let Trump gaslight you.

He's all over the files. Also, why is Maxwell in a minimum security camp?

The Senate has with unanimous consent agreed to pass H.R. 4405, my bill with Rep. Thomas Massie, as soon as it gets there in the morning.

It then heads to Donald Trump's desk.

He should have the survivors who made this possible at the bill's signing.

Seems like a good day to revisit why I chose this screen name a little over seven years ago. A 🧵

It was about a week after Jamal Khashoggi was murdered, and the first time (that I know of) that Trump was asked about it.

Looks like Trump will sign the bill to release the Epstein files – perhaps as early as tonight – and then he'll have Bondi insist that they can't release the files because of an "ongoing investigation" that Trump himself ordered.
Senate Republicans were so eager to dispense with the Epstein measure that they agreed with Schumer to declare it passed by unanimous consent--even though it has not formally been sent over by the House yet. It may land on Trump's desk tonight.

Unanimous vote? In 2025? Have the files been scrubbed or are Republicans done doing the bidding of and for a child sex predator? We will find out.

Low expectations, high hopes.
