Besides the obvious dumb shit she is saying, Supreme Court justices should not be doing media interviews or writing books, etc. while still an active judge.
Amy Coney Barrett defends heavy use of the shadow docket: "If we wrote a long opinion, it might give the impression that we have finally resolved the issue, and in none of these cases have we finally resolved the issue."

Again either they are stupid or they think we are stupid. We have been subsidizing oil and gas industries for a long time. I guess we will let china and the rest of the world dominate.
VARNEY: I thought we needed all forms of energy, including wind, to power AI. But it looks like the administration is killing the entire wind industry. Is it?

BURGUM: We're ending the last 33 years of highly subsidized preferential treatment for certain forms of energy, particularly wind and solar

They either are the dumbest people or they think their supporters are the dumbest people.
Burgum: "When the sun goes down, you have a catastrophic failure called sunset and there's no solar energy produced, and yet we're subsidizing these things that are intermittent, unreliable, and expensive. We've gotta get back to base load."

Thank you @boston.gov animal control for rescuing this hawk who somehow injured itself and now can’t fly 😢. Hopefully they make a full recovery and fly again soon 😊.

Gotta ban fluoride but add more PFAS, mercury, arsenic to our water and soil…the upside down.
The Trump administration is inching closer to banning fluoride tablets and drops often prescribed to kids who don’t have access to fluoridated drinking water and are at high risk for mouths full of decayed teeth.
FDA to review prescription fluoride supplements for kids at risk for tooth decay
Banning supplements would be a double whammy in states that have already banned community water fluoridation, dentists say.

And all of us will suffer with them even though we tried to warn them. Things are going to get rough.
Every time I posted about how much my insurance was through the Exchange, people would say, “what are you talking about? I’m only paying $33 a month.”

Those people are about to find out they were on Medicaid.

So basically you can kidnap anyone and send them anywhere. What gets me is how many Americans are living their life like things are normal

If there is a bird flu pandemic and another country produces a vaccine these assholes will be on their private jets getting protected while we all suffer. They will probably just have a vat of vaccines sent to the White House while they talk shit about the vaccine.

Josh Kraft kicks off what he describes as “uphill fight” to unseat Mayor Wu

“When it comes to the mayor’s big campaign promises to make the MBTA free for Boston residents, to put in place a rent control program and to launch a Green New Deal for Boston, she’s 0 for 3.”

Scientists and/or nerds: what’s a geologic or natural event we don’t talk about enough, in your opinion?

Mine is the Zanclean flood, ie “the straight of Gibraltar went ‘oop’ and the Atlantic rushed in fast enough to form the Mediterranean Sea in <2 years”
