I don't think the Dems can stop the firings. But why aren't they proposing legislation that assures those that took the buyout get paid , and that all that are fired, get at least a year severance and health benefits? And any one with a health condition is covered the entire time they are sick?

why the replacement of traditional media with social media as the main channel people learn about things is so bad: on complicated but important shit like this, there’s at least potential for elites with skin in the game to communicate via trad media to the public that this is real fuckin’ bad

George, you are a lawyer, can you please explain how what’s being done, like accessing sensitive information of the citizens is legal and why aren’t Musk and his crew aren’t getting arrested? Please tell me there are laws that exist to guard from this kind of stuff.
