it might have been "reported it to washington police who passed it on to LAPD who then dropped the ball" now that I reread. There's some reddit discussion on the topic implying grudges or foul play on top of mishandling the case brought to them.

Even if I disagreed with Ana or nyara (which I don't, they both did nothing wrong), why would I want this? Nothing makes me feel safe as a trans person seeing people try to tear down my sisters and claim it's for my benefit. Especially, for the "grievance" of speaking out against bigotry online.
