it might have been "reported it to washington police who passed it on to LAPD who then dropped the ball" now that I reread. There's some reddit discussion on the topic implying grudges or foul play on top of mishandling the case brought to them.

Apologies if this is personal but do you have any writings on the emotional trauma effects on animals from this? I always saw the animals that don't realize it is bad as akin to groomed children (eg behavioural problems, increased risk for assaulting people eg children and cocsa)

I don't think the ban should have happened. wherever a person is at on "should steam allow/not allow x content" it was going for cathartic horror vibes. I felt the content was handled respectfully and touched on a niche. (women dealing with fandom creeps)
