We’re being flooded by dangerous stupidity and it will continue for the foreseeable future, but it’s deeply disturbing that this nomination isn’t a top story. This guy has literally killed people through his actions and is about to be handed the ability to do so on a nation-wide/global scale
If you don't know the history of science, before Louis Pasteur, Robert Koch & John Snow in the 19th century, people thought diseases were caused by "bad air" or "miasma." @aetiology.bsky.social documents how #RFKJr. is bringing back miasma theory in the 21st. It's beyond insane and dangerous. 1/

This may be an obvious thing to say, but people who say they don’t want people to feel guilty about their country’s past are really saying there is nothing about that past anyone should feel guilty for, regardless of their connection to it. In fact, they want that past to become the present

I do a lot of events, and the signing line is my favourite part of the evening. It’s an opportunity to connect with people who’ve read my work. It means a lot. But for Gaiman, the signing line was, what, basically a hunting ground? It’s disgusting.

Absolutely astonishing framing of a story about a 42 year old grooming a 16 year old and sleeping with her when she was 17. How is this a real story that went through any basic editorial process??

One small bright spot of the hellish cabinet appointments is knowing Tim Scott spent the last year debasing himself and Trump gave him nothing in return. Great return on the investment of your tiny shred of integrity

One of the biggest conmen in government. Ran as someone fighting from the left and immediately abandoned them to become a centrist. The only Dem senators with a lower score on progressive issues are Jon Tester and Joe Manchin. Primary this asshole
