I finally watched Creature Commandos and it's such a shame that animation rarely gets the praise it deserves. James Gunn's DCU is off to a great start so far, and I'll remain cautiously optimistic for the time being!

Absolutely zero shade at all, but why were so many reporters and politicians drunk on a Monday evening?
I am, incidentally, pretty drunk rn (the job is 24/7!!!). This is the most Korean thing I've ever done.

Always reluctant to say a politician goes hard, but this goes hard.
Lee Jae-myung, Leader of South Korea's Democratic Party, live-streamed himself scaling the walls of the National Assembly to bypass military barricades so that he could vote to overturn the President's martial law.

Had to double check to make sure this isn’t the onion. This is the equivalent of buying the book for class after you completely bombed (literally in this case) the test.

I go through periods of being either obsessed with/indifferent towards ASOIAF and when I inevitably find myself in one of the obsession periods, I go back to caring about the fact that we still don't have TWOW and my feelings get hurt all over again. It's a vicious cycle 😭

Arya is easily my favorite character in ASOIAF and the lack of nuanced discussion regarding her role in the series is quite disheartening. Maybe I’m just not looking in the right places but whenever I try to find video essays/general discussions about her character’s trajectory, all I find…

The Handmaid's Tale is a good book. But did you know that there's a book written by a Black woman about a post-apocalyptic Earth heavily affected by climate change and societal decline. The book was published in 1993, but is set in 2024 following a presidential election 👀 #BookSky #BlackBookSky
