It’s exactly what you think it is lol. Watching that episode as an adult, it’s quite surprising that they were able to get away with as much as they did. I’ve always wondered if there were any concerns from anyone on the team for that episode regarding censors since it is pretty dark.

Wonderful episode! I appreciate the hard work that goes into researching trivia/behind the scenes information regarding these episodes. Season 4’s story arc is easily my favorite and I’m looking forward to what you’re able to uncover about the slightly controversial episode 3!

Arya is my #1, the rest in no particular order: Dany, Tyrion, Cersei, Catelyn.

I'm very interested to see what Nymeria and her super pack are going to get up to in the next books! I love that Arya named her wolf after a warrior queen who led her people to safety and now said wolf is leading a huge pack in the Riverlands.

Personally I think Arya will spend many more chapters in Braavos as I suspect that the killing of Raff was part of the FM’s mission to sabotage negotiations b/w the Iron Throne & the Iron Bank. I’ll end my rant here for now but long story short there are so many possibilities w/ Arya’s storyline.

However much the show is disparaged by book fans, it seems that a lot of the theories circulating in the fandom regarding certain characters have been heavily influenced by the show’s ending. In my mind, the show may as well not even exist for how little bearing it’s going to have on the books.

…are the same boring predictions based largely on her show plot (i.e. she’s going to flee Braavos because she killed Raff, return to Westeros and mercy kill Lady Stoneheart because she’s going to “learn revenge is bad”, help in the fight against the Others, and then fuck off somewhere).
