Worst experience with Marriott. Clearly overbooked their hotel. Make me jump through hoops when they canceled my room while I was inflight and had confirmed it the night before. This is why we need corporate regulation. They don’t care about brand or customer anymore.

Republicans doing everything they can to dismantle every last restriction on Trump.

Not the behavior of a political party that expects the typical back-and-forth transfer of power ever again.
Oh, House Republicans...

"The bill would prevent GAO from using its statutory authority to bring a civil lawsuit against the White House should it determine the administration unlawfully impounded funds."

It also would cut GAO's funding 50%.

i think this is what gets me the most about the thinkpieces. what do you want people to do? everything that would make people's lives better is opposed at every turn, more often than not antidemocratically. we've had mass protests, boycotts, massive turnout. what do you want people to do?
"if people feel politics is incapable of protecting them they should just sit quietly and wait about it, decade after decade" is no less opposed to the purpose and promise of constitutional democracy than reversion to violence
