The surgery went great. I had a roux en y laparoscopic operation. I didn't have any health issues but I was a fat fuck and I was kiting on my insanely good luck regarding my health until now. Anyway I am now suffering in peace at the hospital until the end of the week.

Seriously, I hate that people assume pixel artists can't draw or paint.
I hate recruiters assuming I'm only useful for fake 8bit games.
I hate that pixelart isn't taken seriously as a medium. Oh I'm sorry, Hideo Kojima, you have pixelart in your portfolio, we can't trust you to make "real" games.

How do I convince people that pixelart is a medium and not a style? I have a classical art background. I'm an illustrator. I don't "just do pixels". Pixelart isn't "retro".
