It's Veteran's Day. I wonder if Donnie will go meet with some wounded service members at Walter Reed and talk to them about how no one has been treated as poorly as he has.

It would appear @shaheen.senate.gov finally realized her bullsh!t PR blitz wasn't working today. Hasn't posted in hours.

@konfrst.bsky.social Jennifer, a trans teenager at the Urbandale high school took his own life last week. It is believed to be due to bullying, including by his teacher.

I've not seen anything in the news about this. Why isn't anyone talking about this?

Yesterday, the American people knew that this shut down was the Trump shutdown. Last night, 8 democrats in the Senate said "we'll take the fall for you" and made it the Democrat shutdown. Under @schumer.senate.gov "leadership", the Senate Dems once again failed us. @kaine.senate.gov We are pissed.

@schumer.senate.gov for the love of God and the democratic party, would you please step down? How much more damage will you allow your weak leadership to do?

We need a fighter. You are not the leader for this fight. Put your ego aside.

To stop Republicans from redrawing congressional maps to steal five House seats, Texas Democrats have left the state — a last resort to block the maps.

Any attempt by Governor Abbott to arrest these members or vacate their seats would be plainly illegal and authoritarian.

A little like when Trump wanted to just stop testing for Covid because there was too much Covid and so he wanted to just suppress the numbers.

NEW: The maker of Dawn dish soap, Charmin toilet paper, Crest toothpaste, and Tide detergent will raise prices in August because of Trump’s tariffs.

Donald Trump promised to lower prices - but costs are going up for working people. He cut health care and gave his billionaire donors a tax cut.

He’s not fighting for you.

Next up: sue this administration!

A disabled vet says he was wrongfully detained in last week’s Camarillo raid, despite being a U.S. citizen.

• Reporting for his security job at Glass House Farms
• Told them he was a citizen
• No charges. No phone call. No lawyer.
• No care after chemical exposure

And to further destroy America, he wants to push out the Fed chair and install a crony who will do whatever he asks.

Iowa's representatives will go along with it.

McGovern: Listen to this quote from Murkowski who just caved and voted for this. "My hope is that the house is going to look at this and recognize we are not there yet."

If you really believe that, why the hell did you vote for the bill?

Man, I can wait for @schumer.senate.gov to get his strongly worded letter drafted so he can record it from his easy chair and tell us all how hard he is fighting for us.

Hey @iowademocrats.bsky.social - we are in unprecedented times. People are standing up every day. But where is Rita?

And it doesn't have to be about pizza, @robsandia.bsky.social - it can be about actual issues and where you stand on them. You could even use it to stand up for those who are being marginalized, if you feel safe enough to do so.
Every major Dem politician needs to realize that, in this environment, they can schedule a "speech to the nation," like Newsom did, and get tons of media coverage.

Just do it.

Iowa, we deserve better than having the worst economy in the country!
Despite many claims from Gov. Kim Reynolds that the state economy is "strong," a recent report from WalletHub ranked Iowa's economy as 51st in the nation, otherwise known as the worst.

Here's something to think about. If Democrats take back the Senate in the 2026 midterms, @schumer.senate.gov refusing to step down means he'll be the majority leader. Is he the right leader we need against this administration? What a disappointing thought.
