We planted two pawpaw trees this year. There’s a house nearby I got a few from last year and one farm nearby sells them. Before that I got them from where they would fall on a Pittsburgh sidewalk from a stand of 3 trees

Ah I was wondering if you could roast them or something, I live in Utah, so I wonder if they would grow here. Gonna look that up

plant them! that way you can grow some more and they’re not quite as rare and sharing in abundance together, etc. etc.

they’re divine; the texture is a little pulpy but not obnoxiously so. when they describe it as a cross between a mango and a banana, it’s pretty spot on and you eat it similarly to how you might eat a mango.

(if you do get your hands on one, remember to save the seeds!)
