Life's been chaotic and the year hard. But still kicking. I considered leaving a doodle dump, only to realize that I've not made many complete doodles. So, have an Abaddon for now as I look to convert endless scrolling to something more productive and creative.

He has 5 eyes, two on each side of his face and one on his forehead, with black sclera, amaranthine and blue layered irises with pink pupils. There are black markings on his face down his neck, sharp and smooth edged. From his head grows twisting antler-like horns that start dark at his head and lighten to a bright pink and purple, ending in bright light blue at the tips of each point. The background is dark and undefined.

A friend has joined us in D&D, so we brainstormed his Tiefling monk, Sully, who's left his life of crime for a life among the stars with a motley crew doing space things. My favorite part of D&D: drawing the little blorbos.

Wanna get good at the arts? You don't need to spend $$$$ on schooling you just need to find that one character you are obsessed with and want to make fanart/fanfic/merch of 1000 times. And then you will get good in no time :)

Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!
Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024 By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1 For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1) And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

One aspect of custom feeds that I don't see artists utilizing is the ability to make custom galleries of their art. You can even make individual feeds for chapters or single comics.

So here's a tutorial on how to do that for a single multi-post comic. First log into skyfeed and start a new feed!
Go to //skyfeed.app and enter your bluesky username or email, then click the arrow to generate an app password. Use that to log in. Once in Skyfeed, go to the FEED BUILDER tab and make a new feed. I've named mine Comic Number One!
