Zohran Mamdani & Zack Polanski both show that a new politics can emerge with public support.

Immigrants, trans kids, the poor, disabled etc aren't the reason for the mess we are in. It's billionaires, backed up by right wing and liberal politicians. Take them on, we can win.

I was on the Today programme at 7.21 this morning talking about changes to benefits.

You don’t get people back into work by cutting benefits. Work is good for our mental health and we must improve the support available to help people re-enter the workforce.
