The liberals want PP to stay on as leader. He is toxic. Carney will bring in an even keeled budget and force the house in to a corner. They reject it and face the wrath of the voter. PP will alienate more voters trying to find a new punching bag.
There is a national narrative right now forming that we should show grace and leniency to Poilievre who has said and done horrific things and sometimes I am so embarrassed living in Canada at the delusional insistence we be “nice,” over everything else.

I have CBC news on in the background as I work today, and I was just jarred by Stephan Harper‘s face filling the tv screen. Imagine thinking that a last minute tv commercial with only Harper endorsing Poilievre would help with voters. He’s creepier than ever. And that smile at the end… chilling.

Our line was an hour long. Others were much longer. Couple of complainers but nobody was interested in engaging with them.
We had a long line up too. It took me an hour to vote. No one around me was complaining. Several commented that it was good for democracy and that was nice to see so many young people voting.

Will be letting Elections Canada know that they should not have a poll supervisor going up and down the line telling people to complain to the "federal government" about the lines....no one in line was complaining!
