My column from Monday. There’s a prefiled constitutional amendment in Alabama that would bar naturalized citizens from holding office. It’s such a blatant violation of the 14th Amendment that one must assume it’s an attempt to get the Supreme Court to further restrict due process and rule of law.

I can't help but think back to November 5, 2018 when we had a decent shot at some severe weather, including tornadoes. We learned that night that fall leaves can get pulled up into the updraft of a rotating storm and mimic almost exactly a tornado debris signature. Surveys revealed no damage. (1/2)
