VICTORY! A court just ruled that the Interior Department's offshore oil & gas lease sale in the Gulf of Mexico was illegal in response to a lawsuit we filed with other environmental groups.

This sends a message to Big Oil that we will not stop fighting for the Gulf, and they will keep losing.

The GOP is using its trifecta to create yet another fossil fuel subsidy.

“If this polluter handout is snuck into the GOP tax bill, then cuts to Medicaid and food stamps could well pay for another giveaway to Big Oil. That’s obscene."

This is a blatant violation of the Endangered Species Act. So, we’ve teamed up with other environmental groups to formally threaten litigation that will protect these species from extinction.

Today is the first full day of Donald Trump’s second administration.

While we will once again fight his extremist agenda, 50% of our ongoing campaign work will move forward, completely unaffected by the Trump administration.

I assume most people know this, but seems important to point out basic truths at this moment in time. There is no energy emergency in the U.S. The U.S. is the world's top producer of oil and gas at the moment, and the top exporter of gas, and U.S. oil and gas producers are making record profits.
