I have always loved more traditional platformers, and often complain to friends about not enough people making simpler games these days. Maybe it is time to 'put up or shut up'?

Day 23
Added death fades back to main menu, and reworked the weather system. It was completely random, now it randomly increases or decreases in stage, until it peaks at one end, then has a higher chance to peak at the other.

Added the most versatile item yet, Reeds! Not only can reeds be either eaten or added to the campfire as fuel, but they can even be used to craft the toolbelt! Inconceivable! (Someone will reply with the PB gif, right? Pretty please??)

After posting the first gif I realized how silly the trees looked, so I now update occlusion based on player proximity. Not perfect, but better than before.
Also more expensive per frame, but you're worth it!

Working on my entry for the Farm Jam Winter Wonderland (itch.io/jam/farm-jam...)!

Its so dark in the frozen wasteland that it can be really hard to find resources such as berry bushes, or pouches that can upgrade the amount of space in your backpack!
