After those results, the Democratic response to GOP pressure to cave on the shutdown should simply be
a man in a suit and tie is sitting in a chair and making a funny face .

What I would like to know is if these MAGA, GOP, conservative whatever people that are NOW publicly “decrying political violence” did they also do that when the state lawmakers in Minnesota were shot in their home? I feel like there was far less “decrying” from those people then.

It is time for state and local governments to arrest masked officers who won’t produce warrants and who have no proof someone is undocumented.

Kidnappers should be arrested and indicted and tried for kidnapping and serve the many years such sentences carry.

So, a humiliated tRump, embarrassed by the weekend’s massive protests and weak birthday “perade” is now reversing his previous call to stop ICE raids on farms, hotels, businesses, etc. He ramps up the rhetoric of violence. The midterms cannot get here soon enough. He is a clear and present danger.

I wish I had heard about this lawmaker before she made national headlines for being assassinated. She sounds amazing. Tim Walz is striking exactly the right tone as opposed to many on the other side. He should have been our VP.
Walz: "This cannot be the norm. It cannot be the way that we deal with our political differences. Now is the time for us to recommit to the core values of this country ... Talk to a neighbor rather than arguing. Debate an issue. Shake hands. Find common ground. This is who Melissa Hortman was."

To a man, every single person in this administration is incapable of feeling any remorse, guilt, or shame. They will never voluntarily resign. We will have to forcibly eject them. Because congressional GOP has abdicated responsibility, we’ll have to do it after the midterms.

There is always, ALWAYS, a tweet/post/“truth,” whatever. Hypocrites.

Who among us could have foreseen this happening?

Fuck, this is starting to get really scary now. I hope this country can turn away from the fascism that seems to be right on our doorstep. Also, FUCK STEPHEN MILLER! FUCK THAT NAZI MUFFIN!

Seriously, this Elon Musk/Donald Trump bromance breakup is the messy Pride Month gift that keeps on giving.

Watching Trump and Elon fall out is like watching two thieves argue over who got caught on camera.

Newsflash: it was both of y’all.

For the life of me, I will never understand how getting rid of things like the National Weather Service and cancer research makes America great again by any stretch of the imagination. These people are idiots, assholes, or both. Probably both.

The President of the United States is not well.

Co-sign. There are many people who should be ashamed of themselves.
Sure, let’s dissect the mental and physical acuity of the former president who sought to make lives in America better while minimizing the reality of a deranged arsonist dismantling the country we’ve known and loved. What a failure to meet this moment.

The fact that RFK Jr. is getting taken to task and to school simultaneously by these senators would bring me an immense amount of joy if he were not already the confirmed head of DHHS. The fact that he was confirmed at all is a tragedy.

Everything going on, all the stupidity, drama, and unlawfulness, this is what happens when you elect unserious people who then appointment even more grossly incompetent and sycophantic people to serve them. This is what happens when you elect people to run the government who want to destroy it.

Look, I am not one to scream #impeachment. It’s turned into a bit of a political football. But, FFS, a National Democrat needs to effing DO SOMETHING. If I see another think piece about how Democrats are developing a plan to “fight back,” I am going to lose what’s left of my mind.

We must protect #JudgeBoasberg at all costs. Knowing what we know about this administration, they will probably try to have him arrested. He’s one of the few with the guts we need right now. #protectthejudges

It’s like they all, every single one of them, look at a situation and think, “What would be the right, decent, humane, or kind thing to do in this scenario?” and then do exactly the opposite. #melgibson #somanymoreexamples

Seeing pics of all the #HandsOff protests, from gigantic NYC to little old Ocracoke Island here in NC, is giving me life. And hope. Lots of hope.

This WI Judicial election has got me reflecting on the one in NC that STILL isn’t resolved from Nov. I appreciate that Schimel conceded quickly and does not seem to be engaging in any further drama…unlike Jefferson Griffin. Just give it up, dude! It’s been months. You are not the winner.
