This means the oldest and most conservative voters are outvoting people under 55.

You Need to Vote Because Ballot Returns Are WEAK
And as of Monday, only 105,537 Seattleites had voted. For a city with more than 800,000 people (and at least 630,100 people over 18 as per 2020 census data) that’s a pretty dismal showing.

No surprise from Harrell. After years of mismanagement of Seattle Police, and a brief interlude of calm, he seems to be reverting to his usual.

This should be on a big digital display inside city council chambers. Whenever a councillor has the mic, AI-powered software analyzes their speech and lights up the appropriate sections of the diagram in real time. If "Does Not Exist" has to light up, the speaker gets an electric shock.
My semi-regular reminder of a really important reality about cities, density, services and taxes.

Any questions?

Our campaign is calling on the city to implement *immediate* safety improvements on Rainier. There have been 1,500 injury and fatality crashes on this street over the last decade. This is unacceptable. South Seattle deserves safe streets.
