I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I have to give Sean Ryan a lot of credit.
He’s willing to talk to anyone, no matter what side of the aisle they’re on, and the country needs more of that.

As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. What they object to is that others feel the conviction to not only confess to racism’s crimes but seek to make reparation.

Ok all sarcasm aside, what these white supremacists are really talking about is when they are asked to apologize for doing racist things. Which happens. Because racism is something to apologize for. What they are saying is that no one should have to apologize for racist actions or statements.
Next time someone says they don’t have to apologize for being white anymore, ask them to tell about the most recent time they were forced to apologize for being white and who made them do it.

I have recently learned that, as a matter of fact, racists *really* hate this question.

I feel this so much. I make a very intentional effort to keep up with and write about the horrors.
What keeps me going is immersing myself in the beautiful (right now, little kids) and trying to help make our tiny corner of the world more kind and lovely.

Oh my God. This is incredible. Stephen Miller's ancestors did ultimately succeed in Johnstown, PA. But this was after his great-great-grandfather was a street peddler. These were the same people who were smeared as unfit to partake in the fruits of western civilization when they first arrived here.

The House just started their vote for HR 3492, Marjorie Taylor Greene's exceedingly vile anti-trans bill. A motion to recommit (table the bill) is up and is set for a strict 5 minute vote. The motion fails on a party line vote.
Meanwhile in the House, there are two fascist bills waiting in the wings: HR 3492 & HR 498.

Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus.
