Q: If there's military action in Greenland, would Congress need to authorize it? Also, does Congress need to have the power of the purse for oil in Venezuela?

On this 5-year anniversary of January 6th, let’s all remember that we are not immune from coups and insurrections. We are not immune from authoritarianism. Preventing them from happening in the U.S. requires all of us pay attention and do something to protect democracy.

“No room at the Inn” is a biblical reference about immigrants (Jesus’ parents) being turned away. Not the government. Way to go, Hilton! The 3rd Amendment protects private entities from having to house the government.
