Been very cold but Somali restaurant offers us delicious, warm tea constantly.
Members expressed much gratitude & confidence this ugly time will pass.

Talked to a Somali man today who said his mosque last night was surrounded by neighbors ready to protect them against ICE if needed. Made me feel proud to live in this city.

I believe under 16s should be banned from social media. But I don't think a government that lets a platform generate porn should be a government that enacts this policy. Either you believe in social media regulation, or you don't. This can't be another robotic Starmer policy

I know it’s hard to have optimism right now, but if there’s one thing that is genuinely giving me hope it is seeing communities — hell, neighborhoods, even portions of cities — stand up in unison against tyranny in a way that is active, capable, savvy. It’s really powerful.

—protect abortion rights
—repeal the same-sex marriage ban
—allow mid-decade redistricting
—greatly expand voting rights restoration.
