Whenever you feel down, just remember that trillion-dollar American/Russian propaganda didn’t work on you.
Have a splendid weekend.

Twenty years of this. Written by Charlie Brooker (Black Mirror) and Chris Morris (Brass Eye, Four Lions).
It predicted mobile social media, influencer morons, techbro bores, infantile toxic masculinity, and general mass stupidity.

Typed in the listing from the inside of the dust jacket of the book, ‘Sinclair ZX Spectrum: a visual compendium’, and scored a cute little Easter egg from the publisher, Bitmap Books.

The barman in my local pub once told me all about his circumcision operation.
I said "Thanks, but that's not really what I meant when I asked you for a cocktail." #LunchPun

It really does appear apparent, that while the “ordinary” just get on with things, the super rich, and their sycophantic cheerleaders make situations worse, or make up problems in their heads, which they then try to force upon the rest of us (like human empathy being a “woke mind virus”).
Enough.

Trump is an extremely dangerous man--stupid, vindictive, fixated on payback for his enemies. This country will be lucky to survive him.

Star Trek: Section 31.

Glad it didn’t end up as a series, and they managed to contain the damage to a single TV movie.

Just watched “Star Trek” Section 31.
What a ridiculous fucking mess.
Who needs a plot when you have endless Matrix-style kung fu fighting, shot by camera operators suffering from withdrawal? 🥱
Also, dystopian scifi looses its appeal, when you’re living in one.

There is a tendency to be overzealous sometimes with taking posts down.
It’s not a good thing, as it plays into the hands of right wing zealots.
Restraint is needed.
Texas Paul is a good bloke, and the post was not offensive.
@bsky.app Why was my post taken down without a word? I'm confused. It wasn't offensive. It was about the Hegseth confirmation hearing.
