If Dems are smart they will pull on the Lutnick thread.
Massie on Howard Lutnick: "He should just resign. Three people in Great Britain resigned for less than what we've seen Howard Lutnick lie about. He clearly went to the island, if we believe what's in these files. He was in business with Jeffrey Epstein."

The 5-year-old citizens freaking out about their friends being hauled off to concentration camps by masked men? Or the ones being grabbed in error for having the “wrong” color skin? Or the ones losing their parents? They would also like you to stop
Gonzales on Liam Ramos and his family: "They're not gonna qualify for asylum. So what do you do with all the people that go through the process and do not qualify for asylum? You deport them. I understand that 5-year-old and it breaks my heart. I also think, what about that 5-year-old US citizen?"

I keep trying to figure out wtf he means by "I also think what about that 5-year-old US citizen?"

Because I think that 5 year old US citizen is much more harmed by the knowledge that their friends could be kidnapped & disappeared than the fact that a kid in their class's family is seeking asylum.

The implication that Bad Bunny is not a natural born citizen because of language and appearance is a sign of our constitutional and moral decay.
The Super Bowl halftime show, with Bad Bunny showcasing Latin music before a global television audience expected to top 100 million, will illustrate the nation’s immigration divide whether or not the reggaeton star delivers an explicit political message.

Watergate, but if someone was killed.
NYT confirming MS NOW reporting:

Prosecutors began investigating Renee Good's killing, then Washington told them to stop.

Federal prosecutors had a warrant to collect evidence from Good's vehicle, but Trump leaders said to drop it. About a dozen prosecutors have since departed.

Interesting amicus brief by @democracyforward.org in Trump's $10b tax lawuit. They convincingly make the claim that there is no case or controversy if the President is on both sides of the litigation.

Interesting consequence of the UET.

So when those postings occur at, say, 2am, are you telling me it’s a staffer with insomnia?
Wait, White House now arguing some staffer has access to Trump social media accounts? But DoJ argued his social media posts were pronouncements? So, is that same staffer signing pardons and EOs?

Reviewing video from Fulton County elections raid.

Taken aback by the dismissive & sneering attitude from FBI agents toward the cop politely asking to see the warrant.

Looked him up: He's an immigrant w/ a doctorate in philosophy. His thesis? "Force by police officers toward African Americans."

Uh, Coons actually won his election. THATS WHY HE’S A SENATOR!
COONS: Joe, it's same rules NYPD follows. Do you see roving bands of NYPD w/ masks using bear spray on people?

KERNEN: You lost the election! That doesn't give you right to shut down govt

C: I have to fight for the core value of our democracy, including law enforcement that doesn't murder citizens

Am I the only one who thinks that somebody from the media ought right now to be asking Tim Scott:
(1) How many other racist things that have come out of the White House can you point us to?
(2) Why would you continue to support the President if his White House is doing racist things?
when you've lost Tim Scott ...

What impact are the US boat strikes having, besides killing >124 people?

- October-December 2024: 7,764 pounds of cocaine seized at the US-Mexico border.
- October-December 2025: 10,593 pounds of cocaine seized.

Cocaine is up 34% year-over-year *despite* the boat strikes.

With a few exceptions, the items in this list are already the law. Republicans are saying it’s unrealistic for Trump’s goons to follow the law.
Here's what Republicans think is "unrealistic"

1) Need a judicial warrant to enter private property
2) Require verification that someone is not a US citizen before sending them to immigration detention
3) No masks
4) No secret police: Officers must have ID
5) Keep enforcement away from
Senate Majority Leader John Thune said Thursday that demands made by Democrats for new restrictions on federal immigration officers are “unrealistic” and warned that the Department of Homeland Security will shut down next week if they do not work with Republicans and the White House.
