By the time this headline appeared, there was ample evidence that DHS was NOT targeting "criminal illegal aliens." They were indiscriminately approaching Latinx-looking persons, and violently detaining them, including persons who had already shown proof of citizenship.

In normal times, it would be a major scandal for the President to direct his AG to criminally investigate his political opponents to deflect from his own involvement in a major scandal — and for the AG to immediately announce she is doing it. The Epstein scandal and cover up just got even bigger.

ICE says video from inside the facility "between October 19, 2025, and October 31, 2025, has been irretrievably destroyed" and can't be produced in discovery.
