And what’s this idea that public services need to make money? O I know, it’s the flip side of “we’re underfunding this but made it sound like a business problem”. We don’t pay taxes to invest in unicorns. I don’t get mad when I leave the movies with $20 less than I came in with. Like what?
The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

In response to this claim that the "strategy didn't work."
The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.

There’s a lot of talk about what the “right” religion is. Im not religious and think most have the same core humanistic principles so there’s no “correct” religion.

(2/4) When going the traditional museum path, you start in the basement at the beginning of the transatlantic slave trade and move up as you go through time. Slavery/the civil war is maybe a floor and a half. Truly the most extensive part I felt was the late reconstruction and early Jim Crow era

(1/4) Not that it needs to because a museum dedicated to slavery would absolutely still accurately reflect American history, but to claim that the African American History Museum focuses too much or entirely on slavery is just absurd. How far things have come is literally built into the building
