I think it's worth remembering that basically everything Trump is doing was started by Bush Jr. And like with after Bush Jr, the next Democratic President is not going to roll back what Trump has done and set up - and they will in fact use this in their own way (as Obama did before)

Don't worry guys Trump has pulled back the tariffs...except for increasing the tariffs on all our major trade partners. And of course all the sectoral tariffs he is not pulling back. Or the new lumber and pharmaceutical tariffs he is promising. But other than that.
