Why has the media establishment become so unpopular? Perhaps the public has good reason to think that the media’s self-aggrandizement gets in the way of solving the country’s real problems.

My dislike was stronger than most but it's a pretty common phenomenon to dislike fashions/music in that spot between 10-30 years passed. Then when it hits that 25/30 year mark it becomes cool again.

I also hated fashion and interior design from those periods. Honestly I could barely stand to watch TV or movies from like 1970-1986 because of the lighting and clothes. I got over it in my 20s and was eventually able to appreciate it all.
