Independent comics as an industry would barely exist these days without the tireless efforts of Kickstarter's staff behind the scenes. As they advise, keep supporting all the amazing projects you already are, but have their back in the process.

People saying Trump is dying or possibly dead, but I for one would urge caution, because it is quite possible a second healtbar will appear as he enters his second phase and a gargantuan centipede will burst forth from his torso, so be careful of his new sweep attacks and toxic buildup from bites.

my father-in-law is a “I know a guy” Guy. sadly all the old Guys are aging out of the Guy Economy. Guys are fundamentally incompatible with Hustle Culture because it’s not about “winning” a deal, it’s about collecting favors and goodwill in a mutually-beneficial cycle. protect your local Guy Economy

Old Soviet joke for today:

A man walks into a newsstand every day, looks around, and leaves.

After a long time of this, the owner says “Can I help you find something?”

“I’m looking for the obituaries.”

“The obituaries are in the back of the newspaper, comrade.”

“Not the one I’m looking for.”

Star Wars? more like Star Peace

[all earth is silent for an entire hour. gradually, the applause of the world begins to rise, at first like the slightest spray of surf on a shell-flecked beach; but the volume gathers, and increases, as I am carried through the streets of the city, hailed as king,

It might be good to include these talking points when you call Visa/Mastercard.

"So you support Roblox, a website/app known to endanger children, but you refuse to support legal adult content? What kind of message are you sending to customers?"
Mastercard, Visa and Paypal can excuse an unsafe website like Roblox, which is aimed at children and is suing people who collaborate with authorities to arrest predators but they draw the line when Steam doesn't want to remove adult games that don't pretend to glorify some topics

Boundaries: I don't want to see that thing so I will block it for myself.

Censorship: I don't want to see that thing so I will block it for everybody.
just in case anyone hasnt said this you can be against censorship while also having boundaries. all those people that make you uncomfortable, you are more than welcome to not want to be around them but you should still advocate for their right to create those things that make you uncomfortable.
